Forbidden West is the third album from bassist and composer Robert Lee. As a Canadian-born Korean, Lee seeks to celebrate his roots through the deep exploration of Korean traditional music while pushing the boundaries of jazz incorporating traditional instrumentation (gayageum), rhythms, styles (Pansori) and melodies .
